Low-converting website

To reach the critical sum of $50,000 with an average spending of $50 per visitor, you will need 1000 paying customers. The average low-converting website has a conversion rate of 1%. This means for every 100 visitors on your website only 1 gets converted into a paying customer.

That means: 50.000/50= 1000 paying customers. To get a 1000 paying customers you will need to calculate the number of visitors your website needs. So in this example, you need 1000 paying customers and you have a conversion rate of 1%. Let’s calculate your monthly visitors: 1000/0.01= 100,000 visitors per month.

High-converting website

Again, you will need to reach the critical sum of $50.000 per month to secure your business growth. The average spending per customer is $50. And also for the high-converting website you still need 1000 paying customers to reach this goal.

But that’s where the comparison stops. The most important difference between a high-converting website and a low-converting one lays within the conversion rate. The average ratio of high-converting websites are around 10%

We will take a realistic and lowkey approach and go with a 5% conversion rate because a starting website will never achieve 10% conversion from the get-go.
